Merry Christmas!!

Christmas at our house was a lot of fun as it always is. Little kids just make Christmas more magical. Harper and Carson were so excited about all their gifts, and Harper really got into the joy of giving this year. She made my parents an adorable book with the Christmas story in it. She also memorized Luke 2:10-20 so that she could recite the birth of Jesus to us just as it is in the Bible. Carson added in her "And the angel said glory to God in the highest!" They are both so precious. I loved giving them the presents I had made and bought, and their gifts to me were quite hilarious.

Harper and Carson got all things Frozen and Doc McStuffins from Santa. It was like Disney Jr. exploded in our living room. That's life with a 2 and 7 year old. Syd was more into her new letterman's jacket, map of the world that she can chart the places she has been and wants to go on, and soccer stuff. I received quite a bit of toilet paper, one from each person in my family. Syd gave me a serious of gifts from countries all of the world. I got English tea, Greek cookies, Australian soap, and Indian naan just to name a handful of them. I also really liked my new craft stuff and cookware for school.
2014 has been a busy year for us. Harper continues to ice skate and loves it to death. She took Chinese classes for a while, but is not sure if she wants to continue with them. Her reading has gotten amazing, and she loves second grade. Carson has loved library time and is getting so big so fast. She is the smartest 2 year old ever. She can count, say her ABCs, knows all her colors, and can even identify certain letters and numbers. She sings constantly, and is always joyful. Sydney did soccer again this year, and broke her wrist. She then went out for basketball and broke her finger. Over Thanksgiving break, she had surgery on it and now is the basketball bench warmer/ video filmer. She is loving the social aspect of 11th grade and will turn 17 in February. I am still at Union, and I absolutely love it! College is amazing, and I am looking forward to studying abroad in Spain this summer. My parents are both doing well. Dad just celebrated his big 50, and he is in the best shape that I have ever seen him in. He is still at Graco and travels all over the globe. My mom has been working hard with the Pampered Chef lately, and earned a trip to Disneyland this summer! She is such a great mom to us all, and spoils us to death.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

God's Love

O Lord my God, You have performed many wonders for us, Your plans for us are too numerous to list, You have no equal, If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. Psalm 40:5 (NLT)
