Sorry about the delay but we land in Nanchang and went straight in to pick up our babies. It was a wonderful but strange experence. It is hard for me to explain, but after 2.5 years to within 5 feet of your baby and have to wait till they called your name is a very taxing and wmotionally draining event.
Harper is doing well and she is huge. She makes two of most of the children in our group. She has attached herself to me and my arms are completely give out from carring this kid all day. We finished the adoption today 2-18-08 and we are waiting in Nanchang for her pass port.
More later..................
Here are some pictures:

HOORAY for the Cryer's! You have an amazingly beautiful family. I know this has been a long wait for all of you, but I know the moment she got into your arms that wait probably seemed liked such a small moment in time. Even though you had such a long wait physically, I know Harper has been in all of your hearts for a very long time. That's what keeps you connected as family forever! Congratulations from the Hewitt family! Love, Lisa
She is BEAUTIFUL! It is amazing to finally see her in your arms. The emotion of sharing this process with you guys and then seeing you all together as a family is overwhelming. She is YOURS! The photos are great! Can't wait to see more. Praying everything continues to go smoothly.
Hi, your little Harper is beautiful! Congratulations!
I can tell she's a Ningdu girl (first, because she's so gorgeous :), but also because I'm waiting for my own Ningdu girl and have been for any others who just became part of a family!
Congratulations again!

You have some excited people back home, especially in the Hamby household. She's a doll. I know you heard our prayers on Sunday night, since our morning worship class (Jarrett's) was praying and thinking of all of you our Sunday morning. Keep sending those pictures!!

Harper, your grandmother has been in a tizzy since Saturday! Please chastise your parents for not updating sooner!! You are so beautiful and I can't wait to meet you. I know your sisters will have a great time teaching you how to play "poor people". Please give your sisters a big smooch (especially Chandler, since I know how much she loves kisses)and tell your parents we are praying for you all to have a safe trip home. Love, Lisa, Bill, Katie, Sam & Anna
P.S. Papa cannot remember Brownie's name, so he has been calling her Barnie. She may be a little confused when you guys get home!
Dear Sydney, Chandler, Mike,and Kim,
I can not wait until you come back with the baby! She is so cute! I love her already. Hi Sydney how are the bathrooms. Chandler have you tried the food there yet. Kim and Mike does she keep you up at night?
Sweet Dreams,
Jordan Hamby
My eyes and heart are overflowing as I read this and see the wonderful pictures! Harper is a doll - I just love the picture of her with that thumb in her mouth! Rosy cheeks! Beautiful. Can't wait to show the kids in the morning - they are all asleep right now. We have all been thinking about you and praying for you. Jake saw a plane fly over the house Saturday and said "Mom! It's the Cryers!"
Can't wait to read more about your first day together!
Love to you all! Kim
